Our Return Policy
Overview
Tacotarian merchandise is made to order and fulfilled by our production partner. Because each item is printed specifically for you, we keep returns limited to cases where something arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
What We Accept
We accept a replacement or refund when: - Your item arrives damaged - Your item has a manufacturing defect - You receive the wrong item (wrong product, size, or design)
What We Don’t Accept
To keep prices fair and avoid waste, we do not accept returns or exchanges for: - Buyer’s remorse (changed mind) - Wrong size ordered (please use our size charts) - Color/print placement variations that are normal for print-on-demand - Items that have been worn, washed, or altered - Shipping delays once the carrier has possession (we’ll still help you track it)
Reporting an Issue (Required)
To be eligible, you must contact us within 14 days of delivery.
Email us with: - Your order number - A brief description of the issue - Clear photos showing: - The full item - The issue close-up - The shipping label/packaging (when relevant)
Our Resolution Options
After we review your claim, we will choose the most cost-effective resolution: - Free replacement (most common) - Refund to the original payment method - Store credit (when appropriate)
If a refund is approved, it will be for the item price. Original shipping fees are not refundable unless the issue was our error (wrong item) or the item arrived damaged/defective.
Return Shipping
In most cases of damage/defect/wrong item, you do not need to ship the item back. If a return is required, we’ll provide instructions. Unapproved returns may not be processed.
Lost Packages
If tracking shows the package was delivered, we can’t automatically replace it. If you believe it was misdelivered, contact us within 7 days of the delivery scan and we’ll help you file a carrier claim.
If tracking shows the package is lost in transit (no movement for an extended period), contact us and we’ll work with our partnerl/carrier to determine the next step. Replacements are handled case-by-case.
Incorrect Address / Returned to Sender
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. - If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we can reship it at your expense. - If you request a refund instead, we may refund the item price minus any production/shipping costs we can’t recover.
Chargebacks
If you have an issue, please contact us first. Chargebacks increase costs and may delay resolution.
